Devara special shows, ticket hike: NTR thanks Pawan Kalyan

Jr NTR’s highly anticipated film “Devara” is set for a grand release with the Andhra Pradesh government granting special permissions for extra shows and increased ticket rates. The actor, expressing his gratitude, thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Cinematography Minister K. Kandula Durgaesh for their support.

The new Government Order (G.O.) allows for midnight shows on the opening day (September 27th), with six shows permitted. Ticket rates are set at Rs 257 for single screens and Rs 312 for multiplexes. From Day 2 onwards, five shows per day are allowed for two weeks.

NTR and his brother, Kalyan Ram, who presented the film, expressed their appreciation to the AP government, particularly to Chandrababu Naidu, for these special considerations. NTR posted “NTR posted “My heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable CM, Sri @NCBN garu, and Honourable Deputy CM, Sri @PawanKalyan garu of the Andhra Pradesh government for passing the new G.O. for the #Devara release and for your continued support of Telugu cinema. I’m also thankful to Cinematography Minister, Sri @kanduladurgesh garu.”

This gesture has fueled discussions about the close relationship between the Nandamuri and Nara families, particularly in the backdrop of recent political events. The government’s support for “Devara” has been seen as a sign of the strong connection between the families, despite past rumors suggesting otherwise.

Producer Suryadevara Nagavanshi, who acquired the theatrical rights for the film in AP and Telangana, echoed these sentiments, thanking both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan for their support. He also thanked the Cinematography Minister, acknowledging their role in the decision.

While the AP government has shown flexibility in accommodating “Devara” with extra shows and increased ticket rates, it remains to be seen how the opposition will react to these special considerations. The move has been viewed by some as a sign of favoritism towards the Nandamuri family.

The release of “Devara” is set to be a momentous occasion, with the film garnering significant attention due to the actor’s popularity and the generous support it has received from the Andhra Pradesh government.
