Title - DEVADAS, Banner - Deepika Enterprises, Producer - HM Krishnamurthy, Story, screenplay, direction - ABCD Shanthakumar, Music - Joshua Sridhar, Cinematography - Renukumar, Cast - Yogish, Janal Pandey, Nathanya, Ramesh Bhat, Rangayana Raghu, Pramila Joshai, Shanthakumar, Kari Subbu and others.

For the ancient story of `Devadas' on Indian screen debutant director Shanthakumar has localized to suit the fans of young actor Yogish. In the process has failed in giving a convincing film for the astute film lovers.

How to attract the fans of Yogish is the only workout the director has done for this film. A few dialogues, startling sequences and a few songs are enough seems to be the mindset of this director. Actor Yogish is now showing any growth from films to film. He is like stagnant water in a tank. The new area of growth he has not thought at all.

Devadas a junior artist rises to the level of super star in his life. He is in love with Parvathi. Power and prestige does not bother his true love. Devadas father is reeling in head weight tries for an equal match to his status via Chandramukhi a famous film actress. Devadas takes to alcohol. In the end he rejoins Parvathi.

This kind of film is a few days film on screen. Precisely made for the fans of Yogish! They cannot make this to run for number of days and middle class and upper class audience would not be able to sit through.

Yogish with a sleek body has not taken care of his attire when he turns a software guy in a few scenes of this film. He is fit for roadside youth subjects. Janal Pandey is a sleeping beauty. Her eyes are good but look as if she has immense love for sleep. Nathanya attracts in a small role of Chandramukhi. Rangayana Raghu, Ramesh Bhat and Pramila Joshai have given good support.

Renukumar cinematography is not special one. Joshua Sridar has looked after the sound more and not allows the lyrics to reach the ears.

This is aimed at masses class audience is forgotten!
