Naga Chaitanya-Samantha starrer Autonagar Surya, to be directed by Deva Katta, has struck a deal with a prominent auto producer. The brand's name may be splashed on the wall posters and other promotional material related to the film, including the visual ads. Set to be launched on October 6, the film will be shot for a major portion in the vicinity of Vijayawada. For the same, RR Movie Makers have started working for erecting a set.

At a recent press briefing, Naga Chaitanya revealed that Autonagar Surya is going to be an intense political drama. He refused to divulge more information because it is too early to talk about it much. One may well expect Chai to do a serious guy role ala Josh and Dada.

It is also reliably learnt that Deva Katta has been advised by the young actor to keep the film's length shorter. By Chai' own admission, he told the director that it would have helped had Prasthanam been chopped off a bit.
