As the teaser itself announced, 'Dev' is a hero-driven story. Karthi plays an adventurous guy who takes to photography, adventure sports, etc as a passion. His VIVA Harsha-like sidekick knows that his password must be 'ILoveAdventure'. He is that famous among his friends for wearing adventurism on his sleeves.

Rakul Preet Singh is introduced as a career-oriented woman who falls for our non-conformist hero. One only hopes her character is not reduced to a mere prop in the movie.

The trailer suggests that 'Dev' is an amalgam of the winnable ingredients: Love, heroism, fights, family emotions (Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna have key supporting roles), ambition and more.

From choosing adventure to facing adventure. This could well encapsulate Dev's journey in the movie, as the last few seconds of the trailer prove.

The film surely has gotten excellent cinematography and rich production values. Produced by Prince Pictures, the film also features Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna in key roles. Amrudha, Vignesh, Vamsi, Ravi, Nikki Galrani and Karthik are part of the cast. Shot in locations across Chennai, Hyderabad, the Himalayas and the US, the film has music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Velraj.

'Dev' hits the screens on February 14.
