Suresh Gopi's first release of the year Detective will grace the theatres from today.

The film, in which the star portrays twin roles--- the roles of detective Shyamaprasad and his step brother, is a suspense thriller.

A few who are debuting into filmdom with this film, includes the director Jithu Joseph.

Apart from Mammootty's Mayavi no other films are in the line to pose any serious threat to the commercial prospects of this new film.
