Dibakar Banerjee takes dig at the British raj in his soon-to-release film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!'. While Sushant Singh Rajput plays the iconic detective, Byomkesh Bakshy in the film, his character has a dog who is named Winston.

Our sources revealed, the dog is named after the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Winston Churchill, taking a dig at the British ruling India. Its a known fact by now that this Banerjee`s film is set in 1943, during the second world war when the British were ruling India. So the director felt it apt to name the dog's character after the late iconic figure.

There is a lot of intrigue around the film that promises viewers to expect the unexpected. 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' is set for release on 3rd April.
