'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' team makes a documentary on Howrah Bridge

Calcutta's famous Howrah Bridge is a very important element in Dibakar Banerjee's film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' Besides, it is seen on the poster image. Yesterday being the iconic structure's 72nd birthday the team had organised a flash mob where 50 dancers grooved on the film's song "Calcutta Kiss". And now it is said that the makers of 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' have made a special documentary to celebrate the birthday of Howrah Bridge.

The film is set in the same time zone as the birth of the bridge, that was constructed on 3rd Feb 1943, during the Second World War. However, It was never inaugurated due to security reasons. Hence, the team has created the documentary to make people aware about the significance of this bridge.

Starring Sushant Singh Rajput in lead, 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' releases on 3rd April 2015.
