The recently released Dibakar Banerjee`s 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' has been receiving a positive response and there is a huge buzz around it. The film has collected 14.06 crore in its opening weekend at the box office.

As per reports, the thriller opened to 4.20 cr on Friday and the collections grew to 4.50 cr on Saturday. The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer showed further growth on Sunday, with a collection of 5.36 cr. The film`s collections have been growing due to strong, positive word of mouth. Thus, the total collections of the first three days at the box office are 14.06 cr.

'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' is based on the iconic detective character, Byomkesh Bakshy. It is set in the backdrop of the Second World War, and it has recreated Kolkata of 1943. The film is garnering praises for its brilliant script and excellent performances.
