The shooting of 'Desa Muduru' directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by DVV Danaiah on the banner of Universal Media, is in progress at Sona bridge, some 20 km from Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

Some important fight scenes are being choreographed there under the direction of fight master Vijayan.

Hero Allu Arjun, heroine Hansika Motwani, comedians Srinivasa Reddy, Rejesh, Rajani and Sony (the friends gang of the hero and heroine) were involved in the shooting. It may be recalled here that Allu Arjun is playing the role of a crime reporter for a private television channel in this film.

Hansika Motwani, a new face being introduced to the Telugu film industry, had an experience as a child artiste. Popular music director Chakri is providing music for the film, while Shyam K Naidu is the cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh is looking after the editing.
