Bad News For 'Demonte Colony' Fans

The unconventional Arulnithi starrer Demonte Colony` directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu has been declared a Super Hit and is continuing to enjoy a good run at the box office.

The film turned the forgotten Demonte Colony (which inspired the film) in Alwarpet into a tourist spot as hundreds of people started visiting the three hundred year old abandoned property every day after watching the movie. The authorities have woken up to this fact and have shut down the property by placing barricades to prevent illegal entries, however the mystery surrounding the colony will no doubt continue for years to come.
