‘Demonte Colony’ one of the rare pure horror films in Tamil cinema marked the directorial debut of Ajay Gnanamuthu was a huge hit both critically and commercially. The sequel to the film is now being made after eight years later and the shooting was wrapped up a few days back.
A thrilling making video of ‘Demonte Colony 2’ was released with the tag “Peek into the journey to DARKNESS!!!” that has now gone viral. The one minute forty two second clip shows that the film is made with the state of art technology and will be a pure horror like the original.
Arulnidhi, who played the lead role in the first part is back in the sequel that has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the heroine. Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Archana and others play supporting characters. It has been announced in the video that the film will release in theaters in multiple languages this September.
