Demonstrations in Hyderabad to 'save' Sabarimala

Karunasagar, an advocate, is one of the scores of devouts who has taken part in some demonstrations held today in Hyderabad. The protests are against the implementation of the recent Supreme Court verdict that women of all ages should be allowed to enter the Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala.
In one of the protests, devotees who have been on an Ayyappa deeksha wore their religious uniforms during the protest.
A small protest was held by priests near the famous Chilkur Balaji temple. 'Rakshiddam', rakshiddam' slongs were raised in solidarity with the 'Save Sabarimala' movement that was kickstarted in Kerala.
Not just men but also women participated in the peaceful protests. They have expressed hope that the apex court will reverse its order.
