The sudden and untimely demise of legendary Australian leg spinner Shane Warne has left all the cricket fans throughout the world in utter shock and disbelief. Several reports suggest that Shane suffered a fatal cardiac arrest in Koh Samui, Thailand. Regarded as one of the most iconic cricket stars of all time, Shane inspired a generation of youngsters by reviving the art of leg spin in cricket.

Soon after the news broke out, several cricket fans took to social media to express their condolances and these included some Bollywood celebs as well. Superstar Akshay Kumar tweeted, "Speechless to know about #ShaneWarne’s untimely passing. You could not have loved the game of cricket without being in complete awe of the man. This is so heartbreaking. Om Shanti”

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who had an on-field rivalry with Warne, wrote, "Shocked, stunned & miserable… Will miss you Warnie. There was never a dull moment with you around, on or off the field. Will always treasure our on-field duels & off-field banter. You always had a special place for India & Indians had a special place for you.”

Ajay Devgan tweeted, "Still trying to grapple with the news of Shane Warne’s sudden demise. RIP Shane. Your legacy is etched in the hearts of cricket lovers all over the world. Gone too young!”
