A fire broke out at a factory in Delhi's Peeragarhi earlier this morning, following which seven fire tenders were sent to the location.

During rescue operations, a blast occurred, causing the collapse of the factory building in which several people, including fire brigade personnel, are still trapped. Mentioning that he was closely monitoring the situation, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal informed in a tweet, "V sad to hear this. Am closely monitoring the situation. Fire personnel trying their best. Praying for the safety of those trapped." Rescue operations are currently underway as 35 fire tenders, as well as the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), are currently at the spot, according to a report.

According to the latest information from a news agency, police have informed that the fire is under control, but 14 people have been injured.
