Delhi-Dubai SpiceJet flight lands in Karachi after 'technical snag'

A SpiceJet plane today had to land in an unforeseen manner in Pakistan's Karachi after a technical glitch was developed. The flight had taken off from Delhi. It was supposed to reach its destination, Dubai, smoothly.
As per a statement issued by the concerned authorities, all passengers aboard are safe. There were more than 150 passengers on board.
The unscheduled landing due to a technical fault, the details of which are awaited at the time of writing, has shocked many.
The SpiceJet spokesperson has been quoted by ANI as saying that the flight had to be diverted to Karachi due to an indicator light malfunctioning. "The aircraft landed safely in Karachi and passengers were safely disembarked," the report adds. The report adds that no emergency was declared. Unusual fuel reduction was observed from the left tank.
Journalist Aditya Raj Kaul shared the first photographs of the SpiceJet flight which landed in Karachi. "The flight was on the way from Delhi to Dubai. Replacement aircraft is being sent from Delhi to Karachi to take passengers to Dubai," he added.
