The season one of the crime thriller 'Delhi Crime' was the an incredible piece of art. The show was near perfect with it well paced narrative, interesting characters, amazing acting and haunting direction. Its success raised the value of actor's attached with it as well. The show went on to win an Emmy which is a pretty big feat. While the season 2 of show is soon to be released, the planning of season 3 has already started.

Writer- director Sudhanshu Saria, who is known for his critically acclaimed work in the film 'LOEV' has joined the project as a writer. An actor from the show told Bollywood Hungama, "We’ve shot and completed Season 2 of Delhi Crime. Season 3 is now being written. It will go into production in couple of months.”

While the first season was based on the gut wrenching and infamous Nirbhaya rape case, which made the whole nation get together and cry for the justice, the upcoming seasons are also based on real life incidents. The actor was then asked whether the season 2 is being held back for censorship reasons.

The reply was, “The new government guidelines on what we can’t show are not applicable to our show. We are not going into religion and politics. Crime is fine."
