Sonam Kapoor is reported to have nominated for the 4th Asian Film Awards.

According to reports, the actress has bagged a place in the nominee list in the Best Newcomer category for her role in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Delhi-6’. Although the film didn’t much impression, her performance in it truly seems to have clicked…. Being the only Indian, Sonam is said to be competing with four contenders from China and Korea.

The event will take place on March 22 in Hong Kong.

While her father Anil Kapoor has become a known personality abroad for his roles in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and TV series ‘24’, Sonam seems to attract similar eminence overseas… Like father, like daughter… Way to go Sonam, wish you all the luck!
