After Virumbukiren and Five Star, director Susi Ganesan has started, after a long gap, a new movie- Thiruttu Payalae. A major portion of the movie has been completed.

Susi says, 'since I have started this movie after a long gap, I wanted to speak about it only after a major portion of it was completed'.

Thiruttu Payalae stars Khaakha Khaakha Jeevan and Sonia Agrawal in the lead roles. Malavika and Vivek are also in the cast and music is by Bharathwaj.

On the movie,Susi says, 'it is a romantic thriller. I ensure that my movies should be different and reach the masses well. Thiruttu Payalae is no different from this'.

On Jeevan as the choice for hero, he says, 'the hero has shades of villain in him in the movie. I felt Jeevan is the appropriate man for the roles'. Watch out for Vivek in the movie for he has attempted something different to evoke humor, Susi says.
