Delay in production forces Pushpa to go massive budget cuts?

Allu Arjun delivered a huge Blockbuster with Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo and his next movie, Pushpa was supposed to start shoot from December or February. But the actor took time off to enjoy the success of AVPL and then, he had to master the Chittoor accent as well.
Then the movie production had to be halted due to Covid pandemic. During the lockdown, movie title was announced in give languages, suggesting a Pan-India release.
Now, the delay in production seems to go further and further with the pandemic spread not coming under control in India and especially, even in Telugu states. Hence, the producers have asked director Sukumar to accept a massive budget cut, it seems.
They are figuring out the logistics again and have asked the director to shoot in a limited time as he is known for taking his time, while shooting films, and also remunerations of several technicians will be reduced with a promise to compensate them somehow.
The amount will be huge upto 20-25 crores from the initial thoughts and once they get an idea on how theatres will operate after re-opening they will decide on the release strategy, it seems. Discussions about this haven't been done with Allu Arjun, yet.
