A political and social satire, 'Dekh Tamaasha Dekh' has traveled the festival circuits for around a year. Now it is finding an apt release for itself, what with its arrival at the time when election season would be at its peak. Since the film is a political and social satire which is based on a true story, its release timing couldn't have been better. No wonder, for director Feroz Abbas Khan - the man behind critically acclaimed 'Gandhi, My Father' [Akshaye Khanna] - it is a reason good enough to celebrate.

Arriving on 18th April, the film revolves around the search for the religious identity of a poor man who is crushed under the weight of a politician's hoarding. With Satish Kaushik playing a politician and his performance already gaining some good appreciation from all quarters wherever the film has been screened so far, the film is said to boast of tongue in cheek humor that dispels the myth of India Shining' by instead reflecting on 'Bizarre India' where 'being bizarre' is 'being normal'.

Considering the fact that the film would be arriving 11 days after the elections have kick-started [the season begins on 7th April], one waits to see the kind of impact that this production of Sunil Lulla and Feroz Abbas Khan has on audience once it hits the screens.
