'Dekh Indian Circus' gets B-town's support

Director Mangesh Hadawale’s ‘Dekh Indian Circus’ is earning immense support from a large number of renowned celebrities from B-town only because of its outstanding content.

Starring highly talented actors Nawazuddin Siddhiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee, ‘Dekh Indian Circus’ is an entertaining metaphor for rural India's struggle to access the supposed economic miracle of the nation.

Sheer love for the story, cinematography and actors’ performances has forced people like Imtiaz Ali, Prasoon Joshi, Shankar Mahadevan, Vidya Balan, R. Madhavan and many more, to go out of the way to make this film a great success.

At first it was the renowned lyricist Prasoon Joshi who agreed to write the lyrics without any expectation just because he loved the content. Shankar Mahadevan too felt so strongly about the script that it led to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composing the music. Laxman Utekar, the top DOP of TV commercials and Bollywood (Blue, English Vinglish) was more than willing to be associated with this fantastic film. Producer Chirag Shah said, They selflessly came on board with a big heart and have supported us throughout.

Talking about presenter Imtiaz Ali’s connect with the film Director Mangesh Hadawale recalls, Imtiaz Sir did this for his emotional attachment with the film. He said he will do all he can to help it reach a wider audience.

Being touched by the outstanding support of the industry, producer Mahaveer S Jain said, We are very thankful to all of them for their wholehearted love. We are glad that the film stood up to their collective faith by bagging 4 National Awards. He also believes, If the entire Industry stands up to young filmmakers and quality content, we will truly see a cinema revolution in the country and compete with the best internationally.
