Kishen Das & Smriti Venkat in new movie 'Tharunam' starts filming! - Deets inside

We already updated that director Arvind Srinivasan of 'Dejavu' fame has brought together the young actors Kishen Das and Smriti Venkat for his second project titled 'Tharunam'. Now, the hot news is that the team commenced shooting for the movie after a pooja ceremony.
Produced by Zhen Studios, the pooja of Tharunam was recently held and the shooting of the film started in Chennai today. The first look and glimpses video of the film has been well received by the fans. Director Arvind Sreenivasan, who mixed his first film Dejavu with a thriller story, is enthralling the fans with a heart-wrenching and very tender love story.
Kishan Das, who won the hearts of the youth with the film Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee, will play the lead role in the film while Smriti Venkat, a popular young actress in the Tamil film industry, will play the female lead. Arka Entertainments is co-producing the film at a huge cost. The first-day shoot of the film has started today in Chennai.
