Defamation: Popular singer gets three students arrested!

Veteran singer MG Sreekumar who is a also a judge in a popular TV reality show, filed a case against three students for defaming him via YouTube. The case has been registered on three students of Paralam panchayat in Kerala.
The students posted a video on their YouTube channel accusing MG Sreekumar for giving wrong judgement in the grand finale of a music reality show recently. According to their YouTube video, a child contestant who was entitled to get the fourth prize in the grand finale was avoided and another child was given that prize by the veteran singer.
The YouTubers even visited the child’s house in Kozhikode to get their view on the same. But the parents said they have no complaints. Following that, the students deleted that video and uploaded another video tendering apology. However, the first video already clocked over five lakh views before being deleted. The complaint lodged to the DGP mentioned that the students insulted him personally and tried to defame him.
