Actor Arya began his film career with the Vishnuvardhan directed superhit Arinthum Ariyamalum, and later went on to star in numerous hits gaining a huge following. The handsome actor married his Ghajinikanth co-star Sayyeshaa last year, and is waiting for the release of his movie Teddy.

Now, the actor is facing a defamation case for a movie released before nine years. In 2011, Arya had acted in Avan Ivan, which was directed by Bala and had Arya and Vishal playing brothers. Nine years after the release of the film, Arya has been prosecuted in the Nellai Ambasamudram Court for defaming the Singampatti Zameen in the movie.

Reportedly, Arya has been asked to appear before the Court on the September 28. It has to be seen how Arya handles this defamation case in times of pandemic, and whether he'll appear before the court and whether director Bala who created the dialogues will help the actor out of the defamation case.
