Deepthi does not drink

Lal Jose's Neena is intoxicated all the time and actress Deepthi Sati has played it up big time. With such natural mannerisms of a drunkard, the gossip is that the she would be a drinker in real life too. However, Deepthi says that is she is very much unlike the tantrum throwing, drunk Neena in real life.
In real life, she says, she does not consume alcohol and has not done so for the movie too. The toddy and the vodka are all either water or juice. Deepthi adds that to get the mannerisms right, she watched a lot of documentaries and has imbibed their characteristics.
