"Though I hail from Bangalore, I found it difficult to get my Tamil diction right. I am thankful to the director who was cooperative and understanding throughout the shooting" says Deepika Padukone. This is with regard to the upcoming Bollywood flick 'Chennai Express' starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika in the lead.

Though Hindi by genre, the film has a lot of Tamil elements, as the story is said to be the saga of love between a Hindi boy and a Tamil girl. While the trailer of the movie raked up a lot of controversies on Deepika's poor accent of Tamil, the actress agrees out of self confession that it was a Herculean task for her to get her pronunciation right.

She says that she had to take up special training to complete her dubbing for the movie. Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Chennai Express' is gearing up to hit the screens next month.
