According to our sources, one of Deepika's closest friends, who stays in New York, US, messaged her complaining about how she is unable to watch 'Piku' as tickets were not available. The friend shared how she tried to watch the film over the weekend but did not get tickets. She even tried to pre-book tickets for Monday but tickets were not available.
Deepika was elated with hearing this and quite enjoyed her friend's banter and she shared the news with her distribution team. Deepika also requested them to check if they can arrange tickets for her friend in the U.S. The distribution team made a few calls and got tickets arranged. Deepika called her friend and asked her to collect the tickets. Her friend was very surprised and elated. She never expected this coming her way.
