The news about dimpled beauty - Deepika Padukone and Kick` star Salman Khan sharing screen made every heart skip a beat because all were eagerly waiting for this pair to be seen on screen. Many directors and producers have tried to bring them together but due to date and commitment issues things didn't work out.

Few weeks back, filmmaker Kabir Khan was giving us green signal of the two sharing screen for his movie titled - 'Tubelight'. As we all knew that, Kabir Kahn's next was getting Salman and Deepika together for the first time but seems like his hard trial went in vain. Now we got to hear that Deepika has opted out again.

Sources say that, the lead female character of the film is of Oriental origin and Deepika was not too happy with her role. So she asked Kabir to alter the script and provide her character with a little more depth and originality. We just got news from other leading media house that, Kabir refused to change anything in it and Deepika finally rejected to star as main lead.

So this confirms that, we have to wait for some more time to see Deepika and Salman on screen!
