Ever since she made her grand Bollywood debut with the film 'Om Shanti Om', actress Deepika Padukone has shared screen with several big stars and has given several iconic performances as well. However, she has never collaborated with superstar Salman Khan even though he was the one of the first people from Bollywood who noticed her during her modelling days.

During a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Deepika revealed that Salman actually offered her a film before she made her Bollywood debut but unfortunately, she declined the offer as she was committed to her modelling career at the time. However, two years later she appeared in 'Om Shanti Om' and the rest is history. However, this offer from Salman was a confidence booster for Deepika as it made her realise her potential.

On the work front, Deepika was recently seen in Shakun Batra's 'Gehraiyaan' and she has films like 'Pathan' and 'Fighter' lined up for production.
