Deepika Padukone CONFIRMED for Bhansali's 'Padmavati'

The speculations seem to have come out to be true.... Earlier rumours had it that Deepika Padukone will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next magnum opus 'Padmavati', starring Ranveer Singh in lead. And now the film's music director Shreyas Puranik has come out with confirmation that the actress is going to be part of the movie.

Shreyas Puranik through Twitter revealed that Deepika will be the leading lady of 'Padmavati'. And so people, yet again we can see the sensational jodi of Ranveer and Deepika for the third time.... Rejoice!!!!

'Padmavati' is alleged to be based on tyrant emperor Alauddin Khilji's obsession for Padmavati, the queen of Chittor. The film is expected to go on floors in September.
