Bollywood Sensation: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reportedly expecting their first baby together. As this hit the news, reports are rife that the real-life Padmaavat couple is in the second trimester. The duo exchanged vows in 2018 and announced the good news in February 2024, saying that they are expecting their first child in September this year.

Deepika and Ranveer hopped on to social media and posted an absolute heart-melting post with baby clothes, shoes, and balloons, hinting at the fact that they were going to become parents.

Sources had earlier confirmed that Deepika Padukone was pregnant amidst speculation by people who had taken a guess from her look at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), where she draped herself in a glittering Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree.

They fell in love during the shooting of 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela,' and after being in a relationship for five years, they tied the knot in a very grand manner in November 2018.

During the discussion with Vogue, she talked about preparing for parenthood: "Ranveer and I are ready for children. We plan to have babies—lots of babies." With the same mouth, she spoke of the grounded values that they both have received from their families: the simple life among mountains, togetherness, and bonding between family members.

At the same time, Deepika still remains an epitome in showbiz; one of her recent hits is a blockbuster named 'Jawan' in which she acted alongside King Khan—Shah Rukh Khan. Meanwhile, the public can expect more from her as she comes up with a stupendous performance in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again', sharing screen space with an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor.
