Deepika Padukone opens up about reuniting with Shahrukh Khan on 'Pathan'

While actress Deepika Padukone is currently awaiting the release of her romantic drama 'Gehraiyaan', she also has an exciting project coming up with Shahrukh Khan. She is going to play the female lead in Shahrukh Khan's comeback film 'Pathan'. Deepika had made her Bollywood debut in Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Om Shanti Om' and ever since then, their chemistry is massively loved by fans.
In a recent interaction with the news outlet Koimoi, Deepika revealed what it means for her to reunite with SRK. She said, To me, it’s like coming home and working with someone I’m extremely comfortable with. I started my career with him, so obviously there is a sense of trust and comfort.
Deepika and Shahrukh have also worked together on films 'Chennai Express' and 'Happy New Year' and it's been eight years since their last collaboration. Opening up about her work equation with the actor, Deepika said, Working is as much fun as it can be because yes, we’re working but also we sit on the side like chatting and catching up and laughing and having fun. So, going to work is always fun.”
