The pre-production work for Superstar Rajinikanth`s next after 2.0` is in full swing and writer-director Pa. Ranjith is in the process of selecting his cast which is said to an ensemble like the duo`s previous outing Kabali`.

There have been reports that Deepika Padukone has been cast as the leading lady for Rajini but Ranjith has denied the news and guess we all have to wait for official word to come.
