While excitement had been set abuzz about coming together of one of the hottest pair - Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor - with Karan Johar’s upcoming project ‘Shuddhi’, latest rumours have it that such plan may have a twist in it...

Speculations are rife that the filmmaker apparently has a change of mind and considering having Deepika Padukone instead as the female lead. It is said that KJo of late had met the actress to discuss about this. On the other hand Deepika is yet to make a decision since she has not read the script.

Apparently, given the fact Deepika has hit repeated sixer at box office with her recent releases, Karan is rethinking about his choice of lead heroine and so, he is feeling that Deepika will make a better option. Besides, Kareena is said to be quite apprehensive of giving bulk dates for ‘Shuddhi’.

Hmmm, it would have been great to see the popular ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ jodi back on big screen with this KJo movie... But if it is Hrithik and Deepika then we are all eyes for this couple as well.. What say, uh?

‘Shuddhi’ will be directed by Karan Malhotra, after his last film ‘Agneepath’, which was also with KJo and Hrithik.
