Deepika Padukone is 'D' in drug chat, asked ‘K’ for hash, screamed the headline of a national TV channel hours ago. Yes, the Bollywood superstar actress Deepika Padukone is said to be in the dock over the ongoing investigation into the Bollywood's drug scandal.
The 'Chennai Express' heroine will be interrogated by the Narcotics Control Bureau later this week, a national daily report has suggested. Her manager Karishma Prakash and hairstylist Amit, too, might be questioned.
Soon after Deepika's name came out, Kangana Ranaut took a dig at her. Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. So-called high society rich star children who claim to be classy and have a good upbringing ask their manager, 'MAAL HAI KYA?', she tweeted.
'Saaho' actress Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, too, are likely to be summoned by the NCB later this week.
On the work front, Deepika will be acting with Prabhas for Nag Ashwin's sci-fi film.
