For quite there been a buzz around the proposed Hindi adaptation of the movie, 'The Intern'. It is a modern Hollywood classic starring Anne Hathaway and seasoned actor Robert De Niro. Actress Deepika Padukone was casted in the role originally played by Hathway while the makers were looking for a veteran actor for Robert De Niro's role. Recently, Deepika Padukone shared on Instagram that Amitabh Bachchan has been casted in the film.

She is very excited to shares screen with Big B for the second time as their first outing 'Piku' was immensely successful. She and Mr Bachchan shared a poster of sorts on their social media which featured silhouettes of both of them. Deepika wrote, "What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again!?? Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern.

Although original choice for De Niro's character was the late actor Rishi Kapoor who would have been a perfect fit but due to his sudden demise, the role had to be given to Mr Bachchan.
