Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is one of the top Indian celebs to have. a massive fan following on social media platforms. On the day of the new year, January 1, 2019, the actress shocked her fans and followers by deleting all posts from her social media platforms.

Soon after which Deepika Padukone released an audio diary along with her new year wishes for all. In the audio clip, Deepika said, “Hi everyone, welcome to ‘My Audio Diary’, a record of my thoughts and feelings. You know, I am sure everyone will agree with me but 2020 was a year of uncertainty for everybody. But for me, it was also about gratitude and about being present. As for 2021, all I can wish for myself and for everyone around me is good health and peace of mind. Happy New Year."

The actress, who is currently holidaying in Ranthambore with actor-husband Ranveer Singh, did not reveal the reason for doing the same. It is said that the Piku star took the step of wiping out her social media platforms to start the year afresh. On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Kabir Khan's "83" that had Ranveer playing former World Cup-winning captain of the Indian cricket team, Kapil Dev, and the actress playing his wife Romi Dev.
