At last, it has been finalised. After a hyped musical chairs’ game in the casting of Karan Malhotra’s much talked ‘Shuddhi’, Deepika Padukone reported to have been confirmed as its female lead.

The Karan Johar’s production which was planned initially as a grand stage to bring together hot couple Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor-Khan after 12 years, unfortunately was dropped by the actor owing to health problem and other commitments. Later Kareena opted out of ‘Shuddhi’ citing date issues. Meanwhile Deepika’s name had been constantly making rounds and she was alleged to replace Kareena. But then the producer had clarified that Bebo is indeed part of their project.

Of late yet again Deepika’s name has cropped up and sources claim that this time it’s for sure and final. Now all we have to see is who will be Deepika’s hero, since the makers have still not find one.
