Ever since a viral tweet from an overseas film critic claimed that all is not well between Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, rumours surrounding the couple’s separation have been floating around.

Deepika put an end to all the speculations after her recent appearance at Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle’s podcast. The Bollywood star informed Meghan that her husband would be happy to see her after a week of him being at a music festival. “My husband was at a music festival for a week and he’s just come back. So, he’s gonna be happy to see my face,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ranveer also spoke about his thriving relationship with Deepika at the FICCI event recently and the actor also mentioned that 2022 would mark their 10th anniversary as the couple started dating in 2012 during the shoot of their maiden collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

“Touchwood...We met and started dating in 2012... so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika,” the actor said. Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in a private ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como in November 2018, after dating for six years.
