The release of Shakun Batra's romantic drama 'Gehraiyaan' is just over a week away and the whole cast is busy promoting the film these days. During one such promotional chat with Zoom Speak Easy, actress Deepika Padukone shared a positive and a negative aspect of co-star Ananya Pandey's personality. She stated that Ananya is a bit underconfident and not entirely aware of her strengths.

Deepika said, "Though I've been saying in a lot of my interviews that she's extremely intelligent which I don't think she's aware of...what she's capable of. I think she's underconfident, which I think is also okay because she's so young and she'll grow into it. But then, it's not a bad thing because if you're 21 or 23 and you're Miss-know-it-all then where is the journey."

"She should not listen to the people around her who keep telling her how she should be and what she should do," she added. Talking about the positive aspect of Ananya's personality, Deepika said, "What I like about her is her upbringing and a lot of that credit goes to her parents. I think she's extremely grounded. I've seen that a little bit in her sister as well."

'Gehraiyaan' is going to release on 11th of February on Amazon Prime Video.
