Soon to be International star Deepika Padukone recently won the NDTV Indian Actor of The Year` award. She received it for her performance in the film PIKU` and from none other than her screen dad Amitabh Bachchan. This year seems lucky for her, as she has already grabbed many awards for her wonderful performances in 2015.

Dimpled beauty Deepika was already ruling the stage with her beauty and honour but someone special was super excited and happy for her. Ranveer Singh, her alleged boyfriend perhaps more thrilled about Deepika winning, he could not help but expressed saying, "You know, the day you got to go and act and do a scene with Deepika, there is just no worry. She is so generous as a co-actor you can trust her to the degree that you just look into her eyes and connect and the scene will just happen."

When asked what 'scene' he is talking about, Deepika brodly smiled saying, "I don't know which scene he is talking about!" Ranveer then took the mike and clarified singing, "Nazar jo teri laage, main deewani ho gayi...Deepika we are really proud of you. Since you are leaving tonight, to go and shoot your big Hollywood action blockbuster, we all wish you all the best. May you conquer this new frontier and make us proud like you always have!"
