If all goes well then for the second time the tall beauty Deepika Padukone will yet again be the daughter of tall superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

Talks are that for his forthcoming father-daughter based film ‘Piku’ Shoojit Sircar has finalised the ‘Ram Leela’ famed actress to essay the role of Big B’s daughter. It can be recalled that both Sr.Bachchan and Deepika shared the screen space as baap-beti in Prakash Jha’s ‘Aarakshan’. While then, the film mainly dealt with social-political issue, Sircar’s project said to deal solely on the father-daughter relationship but in very different way.

While things have not been confirmed by the concerned parties, it is heard that Deepika has given her nod for this film. Earlier names of Sonam Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra were making the rounds for this feature. However Parineeti had date issues and now with Deepika alleged to have signed the film, Sonam seems to be out of the choice.
