Deepika Padukone’s fashion sensibilities have always been appreciated. The model-turned-actor has now expanded her horizons by debuting as a designer to unveil Van Heusen’s Women’s Limited Edition collection this season. Designed by fashion icon Deepika herself, the collection is said to be an ultimate combination of style, class, modernity and substance, and all this at affordable prices. Excited about designing her own line of clothes, Deepika tweeted, "I've collaborated with @vanheusenind and co-created a clothing line...a little something for all my girlfriends...:-) #iamwearingme".

The actor has a huge influence on the fashion circuit and her sense of style has influenced many fashion followers. Deepika was involved in the research at Milan’s creative art university - Academia Di Brera to create the splendid collection for the brand.

On the collaboration, Vinay Bhopatkar, Brand Head, Van Heusen said, "We are absolutely delighted to co-create a line with Deepika Padukone exclusively for Van Heusen. Women fashion followers have been quite influenced by Deepika’s overall charisma and this creation sparkles with her elegant style."

The Van Heusen team also did an extensive photo-shoot with Deepika in Milan at the most historical places in Milan like Piazza Del Duono, Di Viole Di Liquirozia, The Hallway - Galleria Vittorio, Mercato De Piazza and Park Bench - La Scala, amongst others.
