It is well known that actor Vijay is likely to act in a film to be directed by Chimbu devan after completing his upcoming film with director A.R.Murugdoss. While a few sections in the industry state that it will be Atlee of Raja Rani fame directing Vijay after Murugdoss while the others maintain Chimbu as the director of Vijay’s 57th film . However it is certain that Vijay has given a nod to Cimbu devan’s script and the actor-director duo will certainly work in a film together

Meanwhile rumors have started popping up about the proposed Vijay-Chumbu devan project. It is said that Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is being approached to play the lead heroine role opposite Vijay in this film and the tall lass has demanded a whopping Rs.1 crore per day of shoot.

It is to be noted that Deepika earned Rs.3 crores for acting in Superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film Kochadiiyaan. She is said to have taken part in the shoot for just two days.

Deepika, being approached for the Vijay film is still a rumor and things will be cleared only after an official announcement coming either from sources close to Vijay or Chimbu devan.
