After a successful debut with 'Yaamirukka Bayamey', director Deekay is all set to roll out his next with Jiiva in the film titled 'Kavalai Vendaam'.

'Kavalai Vendaam' will see Jiiva paired up current heart-stealer Keerthi Suresh. The shoot is set to commence next month in which it is being said Jiiva will play the character that of a chef.

A photo shoot featuring both stars has also been completed for the film. When queried about the film, Deekay had this to say: "It will be a breezy entertainer.breezy entertainer. Though both Jiiva and Keerthi's roles are powerful, this is more of a heroine-oriented film. Jiiva plays a chef. The film is a romcom (romantic-comedy) and though we have seen innumerable films in this genre, the screenplay will be different here."

'Kavalai Vendaam' will be shooting in places such as Chennai, Kotagiri and Bangalore in the next few months.
