Madhavan the evergreen leading man who started his career as a chocolate boy in the past decade has gone for a complete switch to intense and mature roles. His 'Irudhi Suttru' directed by Sudha Kongara and 'Vikram Vedha' directed by Pushkar Gayathri have both become cult classics.

Netflix has dropped the trailer of Maddy's new webseries 'Decoupled' that is a hilarious and at the same time thoughtprovoking take on the institution called marriage. The English language series has the favorite actor mouthing very funny lines and its an absolute treat to catcb his reactions to the stunning Surveen Chawla who is in sublime form as the wife.

Madhavan is playing the role of Arya,a pulp fiction writer who hates to compromise on anything ever while Surveen is Shruti a cool and composed woman who has her own strong idea of life and marriage. The show is all about their fallout and their impending divorce which may be a life altering decision for them and the viewer ofcourse.

'Decoupled' is created by Manu Joseph the Chennai raised journalist turned novelist/screenwriter and is directed by Hardik Mehta. The show premieres on Netflix on December 17th.
