Dhanush's much awaited Pudhupettai being directed by his brother Selvaraghavan is finally slated to hit theatres this month.

The high budget movie churned out by Lakshmi Movie Makers featuring Dhanush, Sneha, Sonia Agarwal in the lead roles would be released on 19 May.

The movie that was under production for over a year was finally completed last month. The movie set on underworld in Chennai has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Arvind Krishna cranks the camera.

According to sources, the producers and the distributors are overjoyed at watching the final output of the movie which they hope would go on to win the accolades of the masses.

Pudhupettai is simultaneously being dubbed and released in Telugu too.
