As the most awaited Saturday morning media meet cleared all decks for the smooth release of Bahubali 2` in Karnataka, the clarification has come police department that Kannada films in Chennai have not been disturbed in addition to KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu consultation with South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce also clearing off the rumours. The three Kannada films shown in multiplex in Chennai (Experimental film Shuddi`, Darshan Chakravarthy` and Srinivasa Kalyana`) have no problem say the SIFCC sources stated Govindu addressing the media along with Vatal Nagaraj on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile Sa Ra Govindu has filed a complaint on face book remark that the episode had happy ending because a deal for money was succeeded. On the remarks made that money is involved in this smooth settlement of issue Sa Ra Govindu hit back strongly and the reported statement would face consequences he says.
As of now everything is normal. On April 28 Bahubali 2` is set to occupy record number of theatres in Karnataka. The government order on Multiplex ticket price of Rs.200 maximum has not come in to effect. This would obviously support the multiplex to keep ticket price at their whims and fancies for Bahubali 2`.
On the business front the two distributors of Bahubali 2` backed out. In the first round of discussion it was Rs.40 crores stake for Karnataka region, second stake was for Rs.27 crores says the gossip mill.
Finally it is Mr Sudhir of Vasupradha Enterprises that is releasing the Bahubali 2` on percentage basis. Vasupradha Enterprises is old distributor in Karnataka. Recently via distribution of Dr Shivarajakumar Srikanta` made a comeback.
