Court dismisses petition against 'Andhra Pori'

Yesterday, Andhra Settlers Forum has filed a case against Aakash Puri's 'Andhra Pori' in High Court, alleging that the title is demeaning the people of Andhra, especially the women. The forum wants the makers to change the title.

But the court has dismissed the petition and now all the decks are cleared for the release of the film tomorrow (June 5th). Ulka Gupta played Aakash Puri's romantic interest in this teenage love story, directed by Raj Madiraju and produced by Ramesh Prasad under Prasad Productions banner. Josyabhatla's music album garnered a positive response.
