It must be inspiring for a newcomer to gather attention from a successful filmmaker like Indra Kumar who has given blockbusters like ‘Dil’, ‘Beta’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Raja’ and the ‘Dhamaal’ series...

Pawan Gill the first time helmer of the forthcoming ‘Jo Hum Chahein’ got noticed by Indra Kumar. The veteran was so impressed by the teasers and promos of Pawan Gill’s ‘Jo Hum Chahein’, that he asked the debutant to direct a film for him.

Industry sources reveal that Indra Kumar is likely to re-launch his daughter Shweta Kumar who failed to gather much eyeballs in Himesh Reshammiya starrer ‘Karzzz’. Indra is busy with his sequel of ‘Masti 2’ and hence decided to have to have another director on-board to direct his daughter's film.

The search ended with Pawan Gill who is thrilled to have a reputed banner like Maruti backing him even before his first film release.

Wonderful beginning Pawan!
